Every Conflict Also Contains an Opportunity

How willing is your organization to work with the competing and diverse views that contribute to the following challenges in your business processes, strategies and relationships?

~ Impasses caused by conflict between departments, professions, cultures or business partners.

~ Customers and employees taking advantage of increasing choice and movement, making retention and recruitment more difficult.

~ Polarizing social issues like immigration, politics and racism impacting productivity in the workplace.

~ Global trends that disrupt traditional power dynamics within and across businesses, unions, NGOs and governments.

You can’t eliminate complexity or the “increasing noise”… but what if you could transform it into an advantage?

The Worldview Intelligence Advantage

Worldview Intelligence gives you new skills and knowledge to lead teams, organizations and collaborative partnerships through complexity, giving you a competitive advantage.

WVI offers a structured approach, framework and language to confidently address increasingly diverse environments you may be encountering – at work, in community or elsewhere.

It does this by revealing the hidden dynamics that nourish conflicts and by opening the door for a new dialogue, changing your outcomes. It provides a different path to transform conflicts into potential avenues of cooperation.

What You Will Leave With

In this one-day introduction to Worldview Intelligence, you will gain insight into where worldviews come from, learn why understanding the impact of worldviews gives you a strategic advantage and discover how to use that information to change the outcomes of your conversations, meetings and partnerships.

You will also discover ideas to mobilize your team around a shared vision, aligning individual and collective views, leading to a sense of belonging, greater engagement and better utilization of time and resources.

Who Should Come

This program is for leaders, managers, directors, HR professionals and consultants on Intercultural issues and conflict resolution in businesses, NGOs and government.

About Kathy Jourdain, MBA; Jerry Nagel, PhD; and WVI

Jerry and Kathy are recognized thought leaders on worldviews. Through extensive research and analysis, they have translated theory into practical application in a wide variety of client and community contexts.

The philosophical origins of the WVI framework came out of the 1990s work of Leo Apostel and the Worldviews Group at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.

They are working with local colleagues in Geneva, Cologne and Paris who recognize the value of the Worldview Intelligence approach.

Where and How the WVI Approach Has Been Used

We have used the WVI Approach to support:

  • Culture shift in NGOs
  • Changing member relations in two large education unions in the US
  • Mergers and acquisitions in health care
  • The illumination of diverse views that contribute to challenging communication in and across communities, especially where different cultures are present
  • Innovative, leading edge initiatives in health care and regulatory environments
  • The exploration of changing demographics and the impact on workforce recruitment and retention
